Update on Status of Form 10KSB

LAS VEGAS, NV--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 23, 2007 -- AmeriResource Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: AMRE.OB - News) announces that it is in the final stages of completing its Form 10KSB for the period ending 12-31-06, and will file the report as soon as it is completed.

AmeriResource President Delmar Janovec, states, "Due to recent accounting pronouncements and the potential effect on the Company's financial statements, the Company was not able to file its Form 10 KSB by the extension deadline of April 17, 2007. The Company is working with its auditors, and we intend to file the report as soon as it is completed."
